Got Overly Ripe Bananas?

It’s hard to top homemade banana bread, but if you don’t feel like conquering the task of baking, I’ve got something you are going to love, especially in this July heat!

Get ready…peel your bananas and open your freezer…that’s right, it’s banana ice cream with no effort at all. Seriously, all you need to do is mash the bananas into a container and keep it in the fridge. I love to top mine with a scoop of natural peanut butter. How’s that for a healthy ice cream?!

Tip: Just like ice cream, take out your container of frozen bananas a couple minutes early to soften up…makes for easier scooping and less brain freeze.

    You are just in time! I had some on-hand, and was going to make this indian goody, sheera, but will do this instead. great idea!
