Bagel-Bloody-Lox Detox

Here is my version of a Sunday brunch favorite that will leave you feeling satisfied and filled with energy, as opposed to feeling buzzed and heading towards a carb coma. Simply toast your muffin and fill it with the ingredients listed below. Enjoy with vegetable or tomato juice (I love Organic Avenue’s Veggie Vibrance).


Ezekiel english muffin

cream cheese

scallions or chives

fresh dill

Meyer lemon (sliced paper-thin) or a squirt of regular lemon juice

baby greens or any type of lettuce

smoked salmon

vegetable juice
